Balancing Advice

Ok so here is the deal. I am planning to apply to Georgetown so I am trying to do all that I can. This includes taking an online AP class. I am also in two plays this semester and am interning at local non-profit. This online class is killing me because it is only on semester and you have to finish one unit per week and there is three chapters of textbook per unit. Well I was pretty overwhelmed with this course (staying up to mid-night every night trying to finish the work), until my teacher informed us he uploaded the wrong syllabus and everyone is actually a month behind. Now I have about a month to catch up and I am kinda freaking out.

Anyway the reason for that nice little story is that my parents think I have too much going on. Which do yall think is more important to take another AP or to me involved with my plays? Do admissions officers put more emphasis on EC when you are taking the hardest schedule available at you school or is it more impressive to go out and look for harder courses? Not that it will make that much of now but for future decisions.

if you like the course and prefer it over the plays, then continue. If not, then drop it. Follow your heart and continue your passions.
