Ball State Application Summary Question?

On my BSU account, it says admitted, but does that just mean academically?

Apparently Bill Jenkins will call you personally if you’re accepted. Did you audition this past weekend?

Can anyone confirm if there have been any Ball State acceptances thus far or if not, can anyone provide feedback when acceptance notifications might be sent? Thank you!

I am the parent of a current student, and I believe they make decisions after all of their auditions have concluded. They have one more on-campus audition in a couple of weeks. When my D was accepted, I believe she was called around the first week of March. They also have Senior Showcase around that time, so it might depend on if they get their decisions made before they leave or when they get back.

Hi friends!

My name is Rylee and I am a current MT student at BSU. Admission into the university and admission into the major are separate decisions, however, you cannot be accepted into the major if you have not been accepted into the university.

All formal acceptances will not be sent out until after our last audition on Feb. 25th. Bill (Musical Theatre) and Drew (Acting) have both started to reach out to select students to let them know they are in consideration, but no formal decisions will be made until after Feb. 25th

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any additional questions.

Warmly,
Rylee

I’ve just been accepted into the program!!

@rdomann I have some questions. My D was re-directed to BA Theatre Studies Option. Does everyone get re-directed or only select students? Is there really an option to re-audition in November for BFA? What is the criteria for this as I assume many would want the opportunity. Do all students after their first semester have the opportunity to audition for all shows? Thanks so much for your help!
