Hi I would really love to hear from anyone who has been accepted into the Bandier Program. I am very very interested in the program and even applied ED2 to make my chances higher. I just need to know if I really have a chance or not because this is my dream and I need all the information I can get. Thanks!

Hi! I was accepted, and I committed to Bandier as an ED applicant! I had a 3.2 weighted GPA, and a 1620 SAT, which shows that grades really are not everything to get into Bandier. However, my grades were low due to an issue freshman year. (Freshman year-2.5 gpa) (Junior year-4.2 GPA).

As for EC’s: Over the summer I did an intensive internship with Ryan Seacrest Productions in Los Angeles, which showed my interest and work experience in the music industry. Also, I had a recommendation letter from my boss at my internship, as well as a letter from a donor and alumni at Syracuse. I had roughly 100 hours of volunteer work, and had a very strong essay sort of explaining how much the industry meant to me.

So overall, just show very strong interest in your essay, and for me, I talked about what I saw myself doing in 10 years regards to the industry. Also, in the supplemental questions, talk a lot about bandier!

I hope this helps!

Thank you so so so much that really helps and makes me feel soo much better haha @chasemolly56

Hiii I already posted this in the ED thread but I got into Bandier and here are my stats:

-2000 on SATs
-4 AP classes
-Very high leadership positions in my theatre program for 3 years
-Used to work Battle of the Bands in my town
-I have a job 10-15 hours a week
-I talked a lot about my passion for music in my essays and I know I had very good recommendations from teachers I’ve had for a while.
-I also had an interview with the SoCal admissions director that went extremely well.
