Bank/ATM on Campus

Hi! I've scoured the school website and cannot find mention of a bank or ATM on campus. But I'm pretty sure I saw one near the store and cafe when we visited. Is there a current student out there who can tell me:

*is there a bank or ATM?
*which one?

We'd like to set up D's financial accounts for the fall. She is joining you, class of '15.

Thanks!

The MAPS Credit Union - WU Bearcat Branch is located in Putnam Center (student center). The ATM belongs to them. We opened a Wells Fargo account for DS at the branch just 2 blocks west of campus, which he finds very convenient. There is also a BofA branch about 4 blocks northwest of campus.

Thanks minimom!

My son’s bank is Chase, which is also within four blocks of the campus. I’m pretty sure he said he could use his Chase debit card in the Student Center ATM.

If you belong to a credit union, check out to see if it is part of the COOP group. The MAPS is and if yours is you can deposit/withdraw for free - no bank fees.

I was with Wells Fargo and it was a few blocks away.

Be careful about using the ATM in the UC–it will charge you withdraw fees without telling you! (I know this from experience!!)

The ATM at the student center does not charge fees if you are part of the Co-op Credit Union program. I have used it and you can tell from my location, I am not local. I have never been charged a fee.

But if you are not a part of the co-op, it will charge you with out telling you. I know this from experience :)
