actually i think if it goes from 0 to 5,000 that may mean you were accepted. mine changed, while my friend’s (who didn’t get a call yet) has remained at 0.

thats some hopeful news…anyone apply to the inland empire branch in CA?

it’s weird, my application has neither the 0 nor 5000 amount. it doesn’t say application amount anywhere. i know they received it though because i received a confirmation e-mail. ahh.

mine was 5,000 from the day i submitted. don’t take that amt too seriously. they told me they decided who to get it just last weekend. they do seem unorganized too (lost my cell phone number and were reeeally sketch about it)

^when they say they decided who would get it, is that just your branch, or does that include all of the branches?

i guess its possible that all of the recipients have been selected, but at this point im sure that only a small percentage are actually aware.

just because i feel like if people knew they, like i, would be running to the internet looking for information ahaha

Hey! Got a call today and found out I was accepted for the Las Vegas market. I found out that I’m working at a Boys and Girls Club. Super excited! :)
Anyone else from Vegas??? Or just people accepted in general? See you in DC!!! ;)

I’m in Cali and I still haven’t heard… where exactly does it say only 5 people per region get in…?

JohnRamboMcCain

What part of Florida are you from? Where are you going to intern?

It seems like people get a phone call to let them know they’re in. D found out today, and she’s REALLY excited. (Charlotte market)

Oh, nvm. I found where it was stated.

has anyone from Maryland heard anything yet?

Got in the Orlando market. The lady went on for 10 minutes on how competitive it was, and how really awesome people apply for it and that there is always more people that deserve it than they can award it to…then she finally said I got it.

Apparently, this is first year for them to have more than one guy as well, haha.

Congrats, rockerguy! Does anyone know why all the online info on this program is so vague?

has anyone heard from connecticut?
or the hartford area?

also, when they called you, did they call you on your homephone or cell phone?
and what was the area code?
i’m kind of interested b/c i don’t answer my homephone and i just got a few missed calls from an unknown area code, 605.

When do they call you around?
I’m scared because there are times when there is no one at home in my house lol
BTW I live in NJ anyone got a call from there yet?

i got a call on my cell phone # :] but maybe because i put that on the application?
if anything, you ll get a letter in the mail early next week

^what market are you from?

I got a call from my cell phone. I do not remember if they ask for both your cell phone and home phone, but my cell phone was broken the first time they called and they just emailed me instead. So, I think they just had ask for one number and used that, and if that couldn’t be reached maybe an email? I personally found through email at first…sorta. The lady said she had important news to tell me about the BOA internship…so I kinda assumed I got it otherwise, why else would they email me personally? lol.

Anyway, good luck everyone!! And if anyone in the Orlando market gets in, message or something! I guess we will be coworkers for a while haha.
