Are there Chase ATMs near the university?
If not, are there places to get cash back with a Chase debit card without a fee?

ANDDDDD a quick question? are rice cookers allowed in dorms?

Chase is not in WNY and probably not. The “fee free” ATM’s don’t mean that chase won’t charge you for using them.

No, UB does not have Chase ATM. Check out

No, I don’t think the rick cooker is allowed in your room.

so there are no chase banks or atm for chase.
but is it still possible to get cash back from any markets or pharmacies?

There are no Chase banks up in Buffalo. There are Bank of America Atm and HSBC atm.
And yes you can bring a rice cooker. If you plan to use the rice cooker in your dorm, do not put it right under the fire alarm.

This week, my D closed her Chase checking and opened First Niagara checking. First Niagara allows you to access your money at any ATM free of charge.

I don’t think there’s generally a charge for cash back at most places. Don’t believe there is at Tops/Wegmans anyway, which are all over the place in Buffalo. Although I know at least Tops has a $50 cash back maximum per transaction.

There is no chase at Buffalo. Cash Back is limited to $50. No fees on cash back when using your debit card.

One trick if you have to stick with chase is to write a check for a friend of yours, whom you trust, deposit that in his/her account and get the cash.

Key bank and Bank of America are here at UB with ATM on campus in student union…

Cheers

The Morton FCU ATMs - one in the annex behind the Student Union near Suite 150 and one in the Alumni Arena - do not charge fees to non-account holders. They are clearly labelled. My daughter has a Chase account and she has been able to use these ATMs with no difficulty. There is also a CVS in the Commons that will most likely provide a limited cash back with purchase.

Watch out though - just because the ATM doesn’t charge a fee, doesn’t mean that your bank won’t.
