So I'm getting graduation presents in the form of checks right now and figured it be about a good time to open a bank account.

Does anyone have any idea what banks are the most accessible at USC?

Hi there! My daughter is a Senior and she banks at Wachovia…oops…now Wells Fargo.

Congrats!

Bank of America is another good option, lots of convenient ATMs.

I have Bank of America and the midlands is great for them, ATMs are everywhere. Columbia has plenty of them haha. Plus, you can deposit checks through ATMs with them as well.

My daughter used BB&T. They’re great. There’s a branch in Russell House, several downtown including on Gervais and there’s a couple out by Columbiana. Never had a problem. Good luck!

Hmmm… Those all seem to be good options.

I live currently within a mile of eight banks… so all of the ones y’all listed are here as well, which is really nice. XD

Looks like I’ll be scouting out banks during orientation. haha

For anyone who might know: Are there any TD Bank branches near campus?

@jmarietol To my knowledge, no. Never even heard of it lol

Haha thanks. Looks like I’ll be changing banks before August.

B of A has a special student account that charges no monthly fees and I believe have no minimum balances…their ATMs are great too; they don’t require deposit slips and can accept cash as well.

Yeah I would switch to Bank of America if I was you
