<p>She’s been far away from home before. Last year she lived in a small northern city in France as a foreign exchange student. I sent you a pm re: the school in Nepal.</p>
<p>I actually heard her say that she’s leaning towards UMCP now, which was a first. I’ve been encouraging her to consider MD for awhile.</p>

<p>whats the IIRC you mentioned? and for the engineering scholarship, did you also have to apply for that or did they just send you something in the mail? and if so, around what time do they send those offers? thanks</p>

<p>They sent me something in the mail encouraging me to apply for the engineering scholarship online so I did. I think the application was around early March but I don’t remember for sure. Also, this was back in 2007 so I don’t know if they’re still doing it the same. I would call the engineering department and ask if there are any scholarship opportunities for incoming freshmen.</p>
