Banneker/Key letters

The first round of Banneker/ Key Letters were dated Thursday 2/7/13 last year. Could the first round be dated today Thursday 2/6/14?

I heard they were coming out this week…but cant say for sure

I’ll post D’s if other people will post theirs

Good luck jkeil911

Best to you, too, bigbooklover. oh, it just dawned on me, you’re the bbl. someone used that abbreviation a couple days ago and I was wondering what that meant, thinking it was short for something, like imo. but it was shorthand for your name. see, it took only days to realize that.

Does anyone know if these will come out by email first, or will we need to wait for the post office?

Please post if anyone receives B/K letter

I might take out a page in the Post if D gets B/K! That should do wonders for F-D bonding.

Jkeil…you are a mess! :)

why, whatever could you mean, terpmom? 8->

No letters on the East Coast???

No B/K letter but S2 did receive a hand written letter from the College of CMNS today. Letter from coordinator of undergraduate admissions, counseling and recruitment asking if he could answer an questions? A little weird for a large state school ya think.

Handwriting? What’s that? Could anyone read it?

I have gotten similar from Mizzou. They have made a tremendous effort to reach out to me and it is appreciated. Makes you feel that you are more than just a number.

My D received a handwritten note from CMNS too, about a week before decisions came out. She thought it was odd since she didn’t know she was accepted yet and they were inviting her to campus. It definitely has changed where UMD is in her list.

No B/K letter in NJ. Just a letter from the Honors College with more info about the programs and the selection deadline of Feb 14.

@agador same for me, I’m also in NJ. Let me know if you get anything!

agador – same for us in Maryland. Got all excited for about 10 seconds after seeing the Big Envelope from UMd… but it was just a hard copy of the Honors College email that we had previously received

I did not receive email from Honors College. What was in it? thanks

The letter from Honors was just a reminder to sign up for your program of choice and select honors housing. It also listed honors orientation dates and had links to summer camping trips and the overnight stay program.
This letter was dated 2/5/14 and arrived on 2/6/14 but we live in Maryland.
