<p>Hard to believe but I got Honors info by snail mail on Saturday in California. Thank goodness I knew ahead of time it was honors and not B/K</p>

<p>Just received an email from UMD regarding a special package i must look out for. It stated:
"In the coming days, you will receive a special packet in the mail. Be on the lookout for it. It contains recognition that reflects your demonstrated significant academic leadership and accomplishments. " </p>
<p>I’m hoping it’s for the Banneker/Key!</p>

<p>Email came out same day letters went out. Furthermore, merit scholarships like Presidential and Dean’s come out later, in march. Banneker/Key is the one that comes out this early</p>
<p>Did not receive the email, so looks like it is time to look into the other merit scholarships. Congrats to those who did.

<p>@bbl…my daughter got her Presidents Scholarship letter the last week in February last year. Hopefully that’s when they’ll come out this year too. Good luck!</p>
<p>@terpmom7 I hope so too. I’m unsure, though, because my admissions counselor said they’d come in mid-late March. </p>
<p>@terpmom, what is the difference between pres and b/k? I cld research in line but I always like hearing directly from those in the know. </p>
