Anyone got their bannerweb ids as yet? I submitted my application on Dec 15th and haven't been notified about anything as yet. I only got a confirmation that my application has been received a few days ago.

Your bannerweb id is sent via mail. I received mine approximately one month after applying. In the interim, if you have any questions as to whether all your paperwork was received, give admissions a call and they will tell you.

I wrote them an email (international calls are expensive) and haven’t got any reply as yet. In fact the apparently generic confirmation came a few days after I wrote to them. So I don’t know whether that had anything to do with my email to them.

Hopefully they will still consider me for the Scholars program. Everything was postdated between Dec 10 to 15th.

Mine isn’t working! It just says “invalid username or password.” I’ve tried several times!
Is there anyone I can email?

Hi,
I am an intl student also and this same thing happened to me! I called the admissions office and they said to use your birthday as your password…I think they reset everything. if all else fails still call the admissions office.

hope this helps!

i have not even received my acc or anything
i submitted my application on Jan 8th.

mine hasn’t worked. i should call.

Curious, did anyone see changes to their Bannerweb account - specifically, the addition of financial aid and course registration, pay tuition, etc…?

All the links you mention and more were added today. Does this mean anything?

I did to. Don’t get your hopes up, I’m confident of being rejected and I still got those… ;)

What kind of stats do you have, that make you so sure you will be rejected?

I’m an international student, who requires a of aid with SAT I 2050/2400, Richmond doesn’t consider Subject Tests, but I’ve got 1600/1600 on them (M II, and Phy). I’ve also been rejected by both my ED colleges (one is supposed to be less competitive than Richmond). I can’t back my statement any more, but I will be very very surprised if I did get accepted at Richmond. I wouldn’t say it’s impossible, I’m just saying it’s extremely unlikely.

Some schools that are “need blind” when it comes to financial aid are “need aware” for international students - so that may have factored in to your rejections. Financial aid for incoming freshman also may be reduced due to the fact that a school’s current students, who were previously paying the full tuition, experienced changes in their financial circumstances due to the recession and may now require aid. That could reduce the overall pool of aid, which could adversely affect new applicants.

That being said, your SAT scores look to be in the 75th percentile for Richmond and your SAT IIs, even if they are not considered, are outstanding. If your course rigor and grades are on par, I would say you have a good chance at acceptance. Richmond is ranked very high as far as meeting demonstrated financial need, but I don’t know what their policies are for international students. You may just find out soon.

Good luck!

Thanks for your positiveness! I’m always hoping to be accepted (everywhere :P) but, like I’ve said on other threads/subforums, I don’t expect to be accepted anywhere, because if I did, I’d slack off on my backups here in my home country.

Oh, yes, expecting 4 As on 4 A-Levels. That I’ve heard is rigorous enough, although Ivies might like five.

To come back to the point, I’m still sure that everyone has got those changes to their accounts…
