@aliefmoulana I was also able to sign up…deferred EA here…
I can sign up for the admitted students day too and I’m an RD applicant… Do you think that means we were admitted?
@guitargirl8597 I don’t know what to think! I guess someone could try to call them tomorrow
My son received an acceptance letter in the mail today. I was surprised (but happy!), since I thought he wouldn’t know until Saturday.
Congratulations @musicmom3000. If you have any questions about Bard, and the music program, in particular, feel free to PM me.
Thanks, @SpiritManager!
@musicmom3000 where are you at that you’ve gotten the letter already?
Has anyone else received a letter from bard?
Congratulations on the acceptance! Is the online status page updated too? This is a big week, then all the high school seniors can settle into their new futures. Exciting times.
@squidster I didn’t receive a letter yet and I live in eastern PA, just under three hours from Bard… Does anyone know if just admitted applicants receive a letter in the mail?
I received an acceptance letter today, but nothing in the portal. I’m in New York, and was honestly not expecting any news till saturday.
@squidster and @Joan2021 We are in Connecticut. The portal doesn’t seem to have been updated yet. Good luck to everyone!
I got my acceptance letter in the mail yesterday. I’m from northern NJ
My daughter got an acceptance letter yesterday. Regular envelope that feels slightly stiff because of the cardboard cover that holds the letter.
Eegads, the same type of envelope just came for my D! But wouldn’t they offer the same cardboard protection for a rejection letter?!! She had been deferred from EA. Of course, I can’t open the envelope. That would be WRONG. It’s her mail. Electronic notification is accessible during the school day for her…not snail mail! Oh well, no worries. I’m just the parent, but I feel confident that she is set with good choices, no matter this outcome. Good luck everybody!
@Joan2021 where are you from? Best of luck
I’m really concerned because I live three hours from Bard and I still have not gotten a letter… Does anyone know if they also mail rejections and waitlists?
The thin, red cardboard cover that holds the acceptance letter says congratulations on the outside.
okay, too funny…I DID look to see if I could read through the envelope. Can’t do it. But the cardboard cover IS red. Either way, we will know soon. For those of you who haven’t gotten anything in the mail…you can NEVER read anything into how long it takes for the letter to reach you. Just too many unknown factors. So please…no worries. But the waiting is tough.

My daughter just got home and opened the letter and she is ACCEPTED!!! Wow, what a nice surprise. I wonder how financial aid will turn out. Good luck everybody.
