@SteadfastSoprano Is the thingy where we check our admitted materials our portal?
This is the first post I’ve ever made on College Confidential because you guys seem so awesome and I almost want to get denied so that another one of you can get in!
@SteadfastSoprano but they clearly said they would be emailed…
If the decisions are available on the portal, shouldn’t they post that on their facebook page just like they did when they said it would be a few minutes delayed?
I suspect its a tech issue – or at least the admissions staff is calling it a tech error, and the IT department is calling it a user error!
I checked the track my receipt portal and it was just like normal. I also never got any log in information or anything about a portal

I should point out that I did not apply to Barnard, I applied to Columbia. All the info I have is from cousins who’ve applied in previous years

Oh my gosh this is torture! I’m not sure if I’m lucky to be able to be online right now or if it would have been better to have waited until I got home from school…
