I feel so helpless now. I got wait listed by UChicago which I thought would be a good sign for Barnard but I guess not

@nervoussaga It will be okay! Sometimes it is honestly just a crap-shoot. You might get accepted into a very prestigious college but wait-listed or rejected from a less prestigious one! Don’t give up hope!!

Accepted. Cant be as happy because it was my grandfather’s funeral at another country but it was at least one good thing to tell my father : / He seemed excited

To all those rejected, this is not the end!!! So many talented applicants like yourselves apply each year, and they cannot offer a spot to everyone. It is Barnard’s loss and another college’s gain.

I didn’t get the email, even though I got the email confirmation email…??? but I did put in my id here: http://admissions.barnard.edu/admitted-students and it said “admitted student” so…?
I got waitlisted at Barnard; any idea what I should do at this point…?
