Hello guys! No one else has started this thread yet, so I thought that I might as well. :)

Any eager applicants out there like me? :)

Hello guys! No one else has started this thread yet, so I thought that I might as well. :)

Any eager applicants out there like me? :)

Hello! Yes, I am also most likely applying ED! :D

Applied ED about three weeks ago #overeager

haha treehugga… I sent in mine last week/Oct. 30th.

Tentatively waiting…!

Did you guys all do interviews? How did they go?

Just sent mine on Tuesday. Interview Sunday.

I got my tracking numba. It doesnt work.

:[

I hope this is not a symbol of future things to come… Coughcough.

don’t worry. the tracking number doesn’t work until they send out letters. (We had the same panic last year). And even then sometimes the tracking number still wouldn’t work, even though the person got into Barnard.

I interviewed in August! I live on the West Coast, so I had to do it while I was out there touring colleges. I officially decided today that I am definitely doing ED! I have had my essays and such done for over a month now, so I just need to submit them all sometime this week! So, so excited!! :)

I applied ED! Just received my tracking number and it works. Make sure you click on the right link, though–the first time I did I clicked on transfer instead of first-year. Just a thought

It works now!

Are we supposed to make a financial aid account w/ our tracking numbers in order to check up on our FA docs?

Guys, i’m SO nervous…Barnard is my 1st choice by SO MUCH, but I feel like I have no chance. Its sooo competitive, and I’m not even a good writer.

same here T________T;;

Barnard looks for women with all different strengths and interests, so you never know (until you know). But for now, it’s good to prepare for regular decision if worst comes to worst.

Yeah, trying to prepare for the worst…applied to four other schools EA, so at least I’ll be in SOMEWHERE by December. then I have 10 others schools that I haven’t started apps for RD.

I’m applying ED! I’m so hopelessly in love with Barnard that it’s ridiculous. I’ve gotten to know the admissions officer for my area pretty well and my interview was good, but I don’t know how much of a difference it’ll make. I just hope my excessive visits and the fact that I say the word “Barnard” with a dreamy inflection that is usually reserved for “Ryan Gosling” will boost my chances!

I sent my SAT scores and I’m all done my essays and supplements and all that but I’m scared to press that damn “submit” button. It’s so intimidating!

Take a deep breath and JUST DO IT. It’s better to get it in now so you can get your tracking number and stuff in on time. Read everything over with someone and have them press it with you. That’s what I did :)

And same as to the interview, excessive visits, and back and forth emails with the person from my area… Totally in love. It’s so badddd xP

hey! I am also applying early to Barnard! I love the school and after I visited I knew I had to go there. I hope we all get in and can be future classmates :)

Word! If all goes well…

I hope so too!

I’m sure you’re all brilliant and you all have a great shot at Barnard and tons of other fantastic schools. And keep in mind that (according to my friend who goes there, so the source may or may not be completely accurate) around 60% of the Class of 2015 is made up of ED applicants, so we’ve definitely got an advantage. AAAH, I’M SO NERVOUS!

PS: Do any of you know the procedure for prospies if you’re attending a class and meeting with a professor? The professor told me to check into the admissions office but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to tell them where exactly I’m going or if I’m supposed to just fill out one of the cards that they give you every time you visit.
