Uhm guys, I know none of us are admissions officers but when I emailed barnard asking if I can send my final grades, they responded today and gave me the waitlist email…I didn’t get my results yet so I am little confused.
Do they think I’m a first year (I mentioned in the email thread that I’m a transfer), or am I actually on the waitlist? I didn’t think Barnard had a waitlist for transfers

they gave me a waitlist email. im confused bc i didnt my results yet, so like does this mean im on the waitlist? i know some freshman applicants are probbaly emailing about sending their scores cause theyre on the waitlist, so i cant tell if theyre confusing me as a freshman or if im on the waitlist.

This is what you will get in response: “Thank you for reaching out! Transfer decisions are released on a rolling basis throughout the month of May. We will email you once we have an update for your application status.”

My D applied as a transfer student - she was waitlisted on 5/10.

Yes, she sent LOCI. The response was that she’d hear in “a few weeks”. She’s hoping to hear by Monday.

do you mind sharing how the waitlist letter is written? is it like we regret to inform you or are they more positive in the letter LOL. now im curious if they meant that waitlist email then
