Thank you for remaining on our waitlist for admission to Barnard College. The selection process for admission this year was particularly intense and the caliber of applicants impressively strong.

Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming response to our offers of admission, we will not be able to offer you a place in our first-year class entering in Fall 2021.

The selection committee was extraordinarily impressed with the applicant pool this year, and we want you to know that your place on the waitlist was recognition of your outstanding achievements in and out of the classroom.

Again, thank you for your sincere interest in Barnard. We wish you the very best as you embark on your college career.

Seems like people who applied for financial aid received the email. I have the same AO and I didnā€™t apply for financial aid and I did not receive the letter
