Barrons 2400 vs. Kaplan's 2400 vs. PR 2400

I am a junior, who will be taking the SAT for the first time on May 5th. I did well on my PSAT, scoring in the top 10% in CR, I think my score was like a 189, overall. My math and writing score were only a little bit above average, therefore, I really need to improve those. Basically, I am asking which of those prep books will help me get above 700 in both math and writing and a 780+ on CR.

At this stage of the game, what you need to do is practice! Do all of the blue book tests under real conditions if you have the willpower, and review each test that you take...study your wrong and correct answers.

There is no PR 2400.

Haha, yeah, there really is no PR 2400. In fact, their book seems geared for those who want a 1700...

there is no "vs," though the Barrons one always seems to be harder than any other test prep.. i'd suggest you do the kapalan first and, if you hav time, go for the barrons.

Wow... he just stereotyped test prep companies. In fact, both of those books are about the same in difficult, which you would have known had you bothered to use them before you wrote about them. And Kaplan in generally ranked Slightly higher.

Thanks for all the replies. I was pretty sure that there was no PR 2400 but I decided to put it in the title just in case. I've decided to go to Barnes and Nobles tommorow and just see which one I like better.

bump…

i think it’s hilarious…ok fine ill stop
