Hi everyone,
I will take SAT I soon and I haven't got much time. I learned Direct Hits vol.1 and I'm carring on my vocabulary improvement. As I read, Barron's 3500 hits all 19/19 sentence-complition questions and Direct Hits 435 13/19. Thus, it will be good just to know all 435 words from them, and read barron's 3500. Is it enough for my October SAT?
Thanks.

P.S Could you, guys, describe positive and negative sides of this two major vocabulary sourses?

You will learn DH quicker and more easily than you will learn Barron’s list. 435 words is much easier than 3500 words. Also, from where did you get the information that DH hits 13/19 of the sentence completion words? What does this mean (since every SC question has 5-10 words)? Even hearing this, I’d still be inclined to use DH because I’d assume that the 6/19 words that it doesn’t cover are level 1, 2 or 3 words. Most juniors know every level 1/2/3 word that pops up on the test, so DH doesn’t really go over them that much.
