Barron's ACT vs actual ACT score correlation

Hello, if you have taken the Barron's ACT practice test and the actual ACT, do you mind sharing your score correlation? Did you do far better or far worse?

Word on the forum is Barron's is wayyy harder than the actual ACT, but by how much? I recently got the book, and scored a 22 composite on the Diagnostic Test. My actual ACT test is in 3 weeks, and my score is making me nervous! I really don't have spare time to work through the book due to excessive AP work, but I'll have to make more time after seeing my score! I'm just looking for a 30 on my first try and probably trying to improve for a 31-33 in April. Any tips? Thank you!

Barron’s is far harder, and their English section is much more comprehensive and tricky than the ACT will ever be. When I took the Barron’s practice tests, I probably scored at least 5 points lower than I did on the actual ACT. I remember that I took an untimed Barron’s English section and got a 27… then did an untimed ACT workbook (supplied by ACT company), and got a 35 on English.

28 on Barron’s reading and 36 on the real test.
