Barrons ACT

Is this book any good to use. I have been taking a couple practice tests and they seem much harder than the Real ACT book. Am I right?

it only helped me on the science section

i wouldnt believe too much of the english section

yea barrons does not include content that is actually on the act. For example, in the Barrons book I scored a 25 on the math section for the practice test. On the real thing I got a 33 on the math section. Big difference.

Barron's is waaay harder and their science sections are really off in terms of telling you what you need to know. Not a good review book in my opinion.

Do NOT use this. It's just overkill. I'm using Kaplan, Real ACT and McGraw Hill for practice and I can vouch that they're all great for practice. (with Real ACT giving me the best bang for my buck)

i like the barron's math tips section. its overkill, def., but it helps for math trouble areas and a general review
