<p>Which one is better and why? I would prefer to only get one due to money and time (considering the fact that this isn't my only AP exam this year). If you think both are necessary let me know that too but honestly I'd prefer to only pick one.</p>
<p>If you’re self-studying, I would highly recommend both books. This is because I felt that reading both helped to reinforce concepts I came across the first time, and helped me remember things more effectively. This is crucial since the test is essentially based on memorizing ideas. I got a 5, by the way. Also, if you do buy both, I advise you to first read through Crash Course completely, and then skim through the chapters in Barron’s while taking the review quizzes located throughout. I found this approach most effective.</p>
<p>Oh wow I forgot to add, yes I am taking a course and I got an A the first semester. I also have a really good teacher. </p>
