Barron's Practice Tests?

Hey there..
I have a Barron's 2009 SAT Prep book and I was wondering how closely related these practice tests are to the actual SATs?
I got an 1850 on my first practice test out of this book.. what should i expect on the actual SAT? Higher or lower?

The math is harder for sure, the grammar is the same, and the Critical Reading is not adequate.
My advice is to do only the writing sections and to read the text from the Critical Reading sections ,without answering the questions.Just read and try to understand.Ask yourself what was the text about and so long. The questions are unadequate and a waste of time to answer.

so the critical reading is harder? or completely irrelevant and different?

The texts are about the same.CB and basically all test companies get the texts from novels, essays or scientific magazines. The questions, however, that other companies ask about the text do NOT follow the same standarts as the College board`s questions do.

Yes, and usually the other companies' answer choices are way different sometimes

But as i said, feel free to read the passages and try to understand them.

Anything non-CB is unreliable. Buy old PSATs!
