Hi! I just took an SAT Math 2 practice test from the Barrons book and scored a 590. I know Barrons makes it more difficult than the actual exam so I was wondering...if I'm scoring a 590 on a Barrons test, what would be my score on the actual test. Also, if anyone has any tips for the test, that would be appreciated!

Bump…

i’m taking the math 2 this saturday
so far I’ve taken 11 practice tests. The first 7 were all from Barron’s and I got no more than 750, next 3 from Chung sat math 2, got no greater than 740,
then I took the official College Board Math 2 study guide test and got an 800 (49/50).

Considering the official study guide test was an actual, previously administered test, I would say the actual is much easier than the Barron’s.

My scores:
Barrons: 600-680 (multiple tests)
Actual: 770

Masterball, I’m taking it this Saturday too. Ooh, I should take the practice test from the College Board…I will do that Friday night.

Oh, wow. I guess that makes me feel better. I’d be really happy if I got a 700.

Barrons 620-650, real 800. It’s way harder than the real test, but how you really do will rely on other factors on that day. I could almost guarantee that you can easily get an 800 on the real thing if you’ve been getting 750’s on Barrons.

Okay. Thanks, everyone!

My scores are 600-650 right now on Barron’s, but hopefully i’ll get a 750 on the real thing!

hahah i got a 580 on the barrons… then i took the actual test, VERY freaked, and i got a 750. maybe i just didn’t care when taking the fake test, but that seems like too extreme a difference

Nice job, jibler! Are you taking it this Saturday?
Omg, clementines2016, I really hope that happens to me…

Yup, I am taking it this Saturday. Haha, I hope that happens to me. I’d be ecstatic with anything over a 750.

Same here. Anything above a 700 would be great…

I used Barron’s and never got above a 600 on any of the practice tests I took…I got a 770 on the official test!! Don’t worry about it!
