I received a acceptance from Baruch College regular decision and John Jay Honors Program. I don't know which one to choose since John Jay Honors is a bad school, but the honors gives me a free Macbook and 2k scholarship. If I would go to Baruch I would have to comply and pay full-tuition while majoring in Economics. Which school would be better for the future? For example, if I were to apply for a job in Economics or any other major, would it be better if I graduated from Baruch instead of John Jay Honors Program? Do people look at the school you graduated from only, or do they also look at if you were in honors or not?

how hard was it for you to get accepted to the Honors program?

Go to Baruch. You’ll actually be able to get into the honors program while you’re attending Baruch, however, it will not pay full-tuition. If $ is a major issue, then go to John Jay if you will not be able to pay for Baruch in any way. Other then that, go to Baruch. I had just finished the recruiting process and trust me, employers will not really care if you’re in the honors program or not. They care about the grades, activities, prior work experience, etc, and place barely any emphasize on the honors program.
