I'm planning to apply to transfer to Baruch college for the spring 2013 semester. My current gpa is at a 3.0 but with the courses I'm taking it'll rise by the end of this spring semester. I think that I have a good amount of transfer credits, and my sat score is at a moderate level for their transfer requirements,as well as my reading and writing, but I'm terrible at math! and it is required to take at least one math class and I'm currently stuck in a very low level one that compared to the calculus they want you to have is first grade math! I get that math would be required, since it's primarily at business school, but I'm transferring in as a Journalism/Creative writing major. I was just wondering if any one has ever gotten in with such a low level math course with that major. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter because I could always change to something business and not have the requirements (though I doubt I will) but I'm very curious to know if any of you have any word on this?
thanks x
