I know that colleges all have different criteria. I know this is probably not gonna be totally accurate. But I am DYING waiting for my other decisions.
I got into Wentworth Institute of Technology with a $11,500 per year merit scholarship. I got into RIT with a $10,000 a year merit scholarship.
The other places I applied are Wash U-sam fox school, BU-also art school (although I am 99% sure I’m not getting in cause of a fatal error in an essay), Northeastern-art school, Syracuse-art school, CMU-art school as second choice design school as first, Bard College.
I also applied to Drexel but that’s the only one left I am pretty sure I’ll get into.
My SAT is 2030/1370, I have a 3.6 GPA, took AP calc with a 5 and AP spanish with a 3, am taking AP physics and AP studio art and AP stats. I thought it would make me look unique to be taking AP Physics and AP Studio at the same time hence the username
I got pretty much half As and half Bs this semester, so my GPA stayed the same. I have pretty impressive ECs and my art teacher rated my portfolio (when I sent it out) to be a 4-5 on the AP scale.
I am a white female and go to private school in a pretty big city. Our school has pretty good luck with Wash U but I know that my scores are not exactly up to their standards. Honestly I really just want to know about Northeastern and CMU. Bard is okay though.
If I had an edge for any of these I’d say it’s that I’m not applying for aid, but I know most of those schools are need-blind anyway. Tell me if any more details would help. Thanks!
Edit: OH ALSO I AM A MERIT COMMENDED STUDENT just thought I should add that and have gotten three Scholastic Art awards
