I suggest all of you that plan to attend UNC watch tonight! The game starts at 7:30 and is on FSN (Fox Sports Network). It's the first game of ACC play, and we're playing against a #19 Clemson team at their house. It's bound to be a fantastic game, and will get you acquainted with some of the players you will learn to basically worship.

Go Heels!

(PS: Duke vs Cornell is on the same channel right now...you know what they say, know your enemy...)

I "encouraged" my son to watch the game with me last night, he's not that into basketball. By the end of the game he was at the edge of his seat screaming with delight at the win. Then he says to me: "Wow! Dad, can you imagine how exciting that would be in the arena?"

Kudos to Clemson, they played an outstanding game and would have won if their shooting from the line had been a little better. Their defense was outstanding and offensive rebounding awesome. Nevertheless, the Heels stayed in the game to the last second and proved what a great team they are.

Well Maximus there's a few ways to get tickets.

Getting tickets through the lottery can be difficult, because it is a lottery after all. I have friends who have gotten tickets in every lottery so far (4) and others who have gotten 0.

There's also a student run organization called Carolina Fever that can help you get tickets. Basically you get a certain number of points for attending other sporting events, the more obscure the event, the more points it's worth. (Field hockey and women's volleyball are worth 30 pts per game while football is ranked only 10) The top 200 people for each "distribution" get tickets to the next two basketball games, which is how I got my tickets for UNCA and NC State. Top 200 overall get Duke tickets. Of course, it becomes extremely time consuming and is a pain in the ass but you know, whatever works.
