Basketball Seats

Game starts at 9. How early should I get there for good center-court student section seats?

You need to get a priority pass @ 6PM, otherwise they get handed out in the morning at 6AM.

It’s still a chump opponent so you should be fine at 7 or so.

So I can basically show up at 7:00pm tonight and get in on the lower level?

7 on the safe side. An hour beforehand was good enough for the exhibition games.

Cool.

So I would imagine the Kansas game would basically be a 24 hour campout? How does that work?

Well the Kansas game is on the Sunday afternoon before Finals, so that will probably hurt turnout. The team may also be coming off a couple losses at the 76 Classic, and that wouldn’t help.

Not to hijack, but how full does the 300 section get for games? Does it depend on the opponent? I want to go to a game but not if its going to be empty up there…

It’s not empty up there during the Pac-10 season (i.e. any game after Winter Break). During winter break it will be empty, since there will be plenty of spots available on the floor. Before winter break there will probably be plenty of people there, but it won’t be packed.

Thanks for the info, sounds good. I’ll probably go. $25 isn’t too bad.

No games are going to be empty in the 300 level except the exhibition games. For the first two exhibition games, you can just walk in during gametime and sit in the first ten rows.

For PAC-10 games, it depends who the opposing team is. For an average team like Oregon, the 300 level student section will be 3/4 full at tip-off.
