Baylor honors programs

Anyone have any info on the honors programs at Baylor? D is trying to decide whether she should go to UT plan II or Baylor (because it’s smaller)

It requires for the first two years a total of 21 honors courses. Later on, she'll have to take more honors classes and do a required thesis paper. There's a couple of required Great Texts courses that will count as honors credit-has to do with reading ancient texts like Odyssey, Aeneid, Confucious, Bible...stuff like that in mostly small classes (20 or so) and mostly discussion.

A plus to the honors program is that you get to register early for classes-at least sooner than the non-honors. Actually, it's just a big advantage when talking about honors courses, because the classes you want can fill up within minutes after 6am on Registration Day.
