BB: a reading question

<p>a question i dont understand.
pg 609/18</p>

<p>if you look at line 76 it says.." this line of thought is an anachronism, rendered obsolete by its own success." and the answer choice C best corresponds to it in comparison to other choices.
The best thing you can do here is cross off all the answer choice that does not pertain to the passage or is irrelevant. And if you consider choice A, B, D, and E..they each have something that completely does not relate to the passage (Choice A/D/B) and then you are left w/ choice C and E...you know E is not right because if you look back at sentence in line 76...it does not indicate that "environmentalism plays on the political concerns of both liberals/conservatives." </p>
