Critical reading blue book questions.

Hi everyone! First, thank you to all those who would respond.

Second, my questions are:

TEST 10

Section 4,

n 13: correct answer B. Now I’m confused: no training is mentioned at all in the passage. I picked C initially and understood that by “study differently” the different people analyze the situation in different ways. I know why C is wrong - but how is B correct?

n 15: correct answer D. Same issue. Anxiety is mentioned nowhere in the passage. How can I confirm this answer?
Meanwhile, I confused it with B. (I would like to know why is D correct and B incorrect)

Section 6,

N 9: correct answer C. I really got mixed up between C and E. Why cannot we say that the parents had hypotheses or ideas they gained from their experiments, while science provides confirmed theories? (I read confirm in the passage. This word particularly confused me.)

I’m worried I’m being too picky/aggressive with the choices.

That’s it so far. Thanks once again.

  • section 6 n 12 - why not struggle for? I think it's perfect, It shows they were trying hard to find an analogy in such a society with biased views on gender equality.
