BB or College board online prep course?

Hi,

So..I am currently enrolled in the Official College board online prep course (the one with 9 practice tests, I think), but I do not have the Official College Board book (called the BB).
Are the tests different? If so, would it be helpful for me to purchase the book as well?
I have McGrawhill, Princeton Review and Barrons 2400..but strangely I do not have the official book..haha.
I got a 2070 on the last practice test I took on the online course. I will be taking the test in November and I really want a 2200+.
Please help me D: Thank you.

yes sir the tests are different but do you honestly need 19 tests? I have both because my school paid for all of us to have the online class but I mean the 9 online should do you just fine. You already got a 2070 on one it won’t take you 10 more tests to increase that. just keep the online thing, save your money and I can 100% guarantee you that you’ll reach your goal

If you study the test after you complete it and know why you got certain questions wrong then I guarantee you that after couple of tests you will be hitting your desired score.

All those prep books are not necessary. Just stick with the online course.

braniac i have to disagree, barrons 2400 is a very good book and is something that should be looked into

sjsharks, yea maybe that’s a good book but he has like 3 prep books along with the online class which I hear isnt too cheap. That’s at least $100 of study material. You don’t need all that nonsense. just use your online class, practice with those sat’s, see what your strengths and weaknesses are, and get a workbook for your weakest subject if necessary. I spent $20 for my BB and got a 2260 by simply doing the problems and learning from my mistakes.
Also, all those books are pretty much gonna tell you the exact same thing no need to waste the extra money.
