bb scoring ranges

I just took a bb practice test and it gave me 670-770 for critical reading

I got 5 wrong; however, when I actually took the SAT in May, i got 10 wrong and received a 660, so how accurate is this scoring range? Does this mean I am in the mid to upper end of it?

Also, if you guys can post your section scores with the # you got wrong/omitted, that would be appreciated...

Generally, people take the average for BB score ranges, so you would score that as a 720. For scores in the 700s, this is a conversative estimation. If you were to take the actual test (provided you preform just as well) you'd be looking at a 730-740.

On real SAT's, the scale is always more lenient toward the upper end (700+), but you can't just use, say, the May 07 scale for BB tests, because that scale was specifically designed to reflect the difficulty of that particular test. There's no way to get a 100% accurate reading of your score with BB tests, but taking the average is a good way to go, especially since, in this case, lower score would serve much more useful than a higher score.

My favorite thing about the BB score ranges is that if you get a 49 on W MC, you have a range of 78-80

lol?
