BBA Scholars program

Can anybody tell me a little about the BBA Scholars program? I got accepted and was just wondering more about what the program is like, the kinds of things you do, etc.

Hi sunshine341, I’m a BBA Scholar. My experience is that being one doesn’t take much time. It’s not like we have monthly meetings or anything. The program is well-run. There is an ice cream social at the beginning of the year where existing BBA Scholars can come meet the new ones. You have the opportunity to attend some of the lectures and luncheons hosted by Cox for free (that are geared toward MBA students). You get to attend a cocktail reception with Edwin L. Cox himself (for whom the school is named). The main thing that drew me to the program was knowing I could take business classes sooner than the average student.

Thank you Lily! :)

Being a BBA Scholar is a wonderful opportunity and is well regarded on campus. If you’re still considering it, I would say definitely go for it! And congratulations!
