BBA with Concentration vs BS

Is a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, the same or similar to a Bachelor's of Science in Finance? I want to know, because some colleges only offer a concentration, like UMASS Amherst, and Bryant. Others like Bentley and Syracuse offer a BS in Finance. Will employers, shy away from the BBA or are they virtually the same? Thanks in advance.

should be the same thing.

some employers may shy away, have u considered the sloan school at mit??

I believe that they are essentially the same things, each college just has a different way of giving the degree.

It's basically the same thing and the same applies for accounting.

thats what i figured, thanks.

i think your wrong

Cool is wrong. Reputation is determined by the school and department, not the name of its degree. (Funny enough the school he recommends doesn't offer a BS, but a concentration.)

Focus on the programs, not the names. Some may require just 4 classes beyond business core or a major with 6 classes.
Bryant's requirements for their "concentration" are closer to Bentley and Syracuse's "majors" than MIT or UMass' "concentrations".

" have u considered the sloan school at mit?? "

Rofl ur saying that as if getting is real easy...

10char....
