American will be a safety for you. Syracuse may offer you merit $, Agree that your first two are stretches and given your grades, even if you got in, you may find it extremely challenging and miss out on a social life. All are good schools and in about the top 50 in the US so don't worry. Your SAT is very good for many of those schools. Most are in the New England -Mid Atlantic corridorer so if you are from a Western or Southern state that can help.

I am a New Yorker. =)

Oh, I decided to not send any of my SAT II scores. The scores were horrible. =) I know I have no chance without SAT II scores.

dude i have same stats, lower SATS by a bit, but my ECs were higher by a bit too...like my gpa was round about the same....you are in Rochester because they seem to love SATs for reasons i will go into if you want later, NYU is definitely a reach, CMU is a reach/match, BC match, babson match/reach, american university is definitely match/safety.

Okay, so you have to also take into account that some universities dont mind that lower GPA with High SAT combo because of the fact that their university has a special curriculum program in which students basically take classes in whatever interests them. Therefore a smart student would follow that curriculum path and will eventually be very successfull. Rochester is like that, maybe some other universities are also like that.

best of luck
