I’m missing A BUNCH of documents that I just found out about today and I’m freaking out. I need to get them there asap and fax is quickest, right? ):

Wow! You and I are in the same boat. I called the financial aid office today and i asked if it was possible to fax the documents and they said yes and gave the fax number to the financial aid office to me. Whew! thats a load off my mind. Hopefully my package comes within 2-3 weeks.

Ahh, I'm not alone!

I really hope we get some money! See, I'm an EA applicant too, and I had NO IDEA up until today. So I feel like I'm not going to get anything, and I'm in a bit of a weird circumstance where I applied to schools that don't give good merit. Gahh. ): Now I'm completely miserable. Do you know what to do if we, the student, aren't filing a Tax Return? I'm trying to figure it out but the office is closed.

anyone know what the deal is with agora? im trying to log on to see what my financial aid package is....any suggestions how to find out what my financial aid situation is? i didnt get anything bout it besides a password in my acceptance letter

if the student doesn't file a tax return, just write a letter to BC informing them that you're not eligible to file a tax return or something like that.

Well I think there is a section about that on the CSS Profile. I'm sure I put I did not and will not file taxes. Plus they said the required forms are Parent's W-2 and 1040.

Writing a letter sounds good as well. Um i thought you would be able to view it by clicking "Financial Aid Award Notification". I'm not sure though being that I dont have an award as of right now. It just says something about me not having one because of missing information when I click it. :-(

All Incoming Freshman students who have not and will not file 2007 federal tax returns will have the opportunity to waive this requirement once they have made a deposit decision in May. At that time, the Office of Student Services will send each financial aid applicant the Boston College Validation Form. This outstanding requirement will not prevent Boston College from determining a conditional award.
