I was admitted to Carroll, and I’m wondering how BC takes internships? Are internships required for business majors? If so, does BC guarantee internship for everyone, or at least does it just let you find your own internship on your own? This is very important because under the economy many corps only take in US citizens.

Also, how’s job placement for internationals? Anyone who knows this please give me your opinion/advice, really appreciate it!

Finding work in the US as an International is extremely difficult and I’d be surprised if anyone on this thread can help you. Suggest you e-mail BC’s Career Services office, and repost your question on the cc thread that addresses issues of interest to Internationals.

Yes, take Blue Bayou’s advice and contact the BC career center directly as you are an admitted student and they should be willing give you advice. However, I do have a close friend that is employed with the Carroll School and they certainly have been successful in finding international students internships as they have many recruiters with offices outside the U.S. Placements in China and Hong Kong in particular have been available to several of her students. I don’t know your home country so I don’t know if that helps. Good luck.
