BC Social Life?

I’m really interested in BC, but I’ve been told that it’s full of preppy kids who look like they stepped out of a J.Crew catalog. Is this true, because my H.S. is like this and I don’t know if I want to go to a college like that. Thanks!

yes, I'm also interested in knowing how the social scene is. i come from a small town in texas, and I'm like the only indian person here. I was wondering how the girls there were like (hopefully different than the ones at UT Austin lol)

I visited campus and I can tell you the girls are hot and I was pleasantly surprised. I am not real preppy and I didn't get the impression that it was a J Crew catalog, there are some total prepsters of course, but I felt there was a good mix, but it's not really culturally diverse. The kids seemed really cool, and I don't think you would have any problems, rafman, being of indian hertiage.

mnwinwin11,
i saw that you are going to bc over northwestern on the nu page...good decision...i made the exact same decision this year as well. i am glad i am not alone.

mnwinwin11,
Thank you for the insight. I live 1800 miles away from chestnut hill, and i haven't had the opportunity or time to go visit the campus, that's why i have to rely on what i hear from friends, family, collegeconfidential, and other sources. yet im excited and can't wait to start

rafman,
everyone was very welcoming when i toured there. i think you'll fit in just fine. it'll be a great experience. also, the girls seemed better-looking than at the other places i toured. see ya in the fall!
