yo im planning to go to a state school and this year i am taking 6 AP classes, and i got a B 1st semester of calc bc, and i think im going to **** up 2nd semester cuz this stuff looks rediculous right now. you think a state school will care if i drop down from BC to AB Calc?

or

I have 0 period ap statistics, so i take a class before school starts. I also got a B in this class and the teacher said that if I drop out of this class he will raise the grade i got 1st semester up 1 letter grade so i would get an A. So right now I am taking 7 core classes, will a state school care if one class dissapears off the schedule 2nd semester? thanks

im thinking about doing one of these but i dunno which one, or i might do none if the outlook looks bad.

A couple of questions...Did you already take Cal AB? or did you go straight to BC? Did you take BC because your teacher recommended that you do so? If your teacher recommended taking BC, bypassing AB, then you may wish to discuss your challenges you are having w/BC. You may be pleasantly surprised....With regard to Stats...it seems like you are taking ALOT of AP classes. Are you taking that many to bring up your weighted GPA? Do you need 7 classes to graduate? If your goal is to attend your state college, you may not need all those APs. However, if you are planning to attend your state university-you may indeed need all of them. I believe you are a bright person-to tackle that many APs is really quite something. Talk honestly with your teachers, and guidance counselor BEFORE dropping any class.G'Luck!
