how is the workload at bc? ive heard people say its crazy hard and others say its pretty managable.

My friend is a history major, he studies around 2 hours a day, I think, he maintained a 3.9 gpa... I spoke with a senior who told me she only studied for finals but kept up on readings, etc. She had a 3.6 gpa... From what I hear you can maintain a 3.6 without too much work. That all depends on your major, I'm sure premed would be harder than most other majors. Also it depends on how many majors your doing, If accepted, I plan to do 2; that might be more challanging than doing one. its up to what you've done in HS.

Question-Can you elect to double-major if you aren't in the Honors program?

I am currently slated to major in Pol. Science, but I have considered also majoring in History.

You choose your major 2 years in, you can double major, no matter what.

Are any schools in the Arts and Sciences Faculty renowed for excessive workload?

I was looking into doing History, sociology and philosophy.

relax people, college is college

Yeh its just that since i will only be there for one semester i dont want to be stuck into the books the whole time i want to be able to get out and enjoy my time.

So any heads up on what to avoid would be good heh. I was looking at your perspectives class and realise its double the credit points (most likely double the work), is it a killer or is it interesting? (if you have done it that is, i dont know how popular it is as a core)
