BChem and IA?

Anyone got an experience with double-majors between the two? Biochemistry and International Affairs. I've been looking at it from a scheduling perspective and it looks almost impossible... almost.

From the IA side, I've heard that it's really difficult to get the classes you want. That would definitely complicate things even more...

Oh, and how is UGA's MUN?

IA is harder to get classes you want- at first. Once you build up a good load of credit hours, the classes are much easier to get. Also, you can always pick up classes during drop/add and professors are usually accommodating.

I think you could definitely make biochem work with IA. It would take some fancy scheduling, but if you have a lot of AP courses/SAT II scores or want to do summer classes I think you could make it work. In fact, some of the most successful students at UGA combine a hard science with a social science (like POLS or INTL), so I think you'd be fine with that.

UGA's MUN team is pretty laid back. We host one HS conference and then use the proceedings from that to pay for a big trip to some far-away collegiate conference. PM me if you'd like more details.
