what is required to become a sophomore first year? Is it possible? (in terms of credit from ap tests).

yep. I was in sophomore standing when I was supposed to be a freshman. That requires 20-30 ap credits. I even know some1 here with junior standing with 77 ap credits.

^that’s chill. I think I’m at about 24 if I were to go there. I’m going to be a senior… would like to get more.

^^ thts really chill

It’s 30 credit hours per year basically (32 if you’re engineering). I went in with 36 credits from APs and online it says “sophomore” for one of the statuses but I’m held back by prerequisites for higher classes so I might still have to do 4 years (I’m engineering). If you’re LAS, you can probably get by because they require less credits per major.

Technically it is 30 hours per class status.

30 hours to obtain Sophomore Standing
60 hours to obtain Junior Standing
90 hours to obtain Senior Standing

I’m going in with 37 credits, technically as a sophomore, but I’m doing EE and I have to take the full four years anyway =|
