I was told by RPS all requests have to be made by both roommates and they both have to pay the $25, though not sure how they match up those requests

I guess this year you cant have single beds in Teter:

“It was determined by our office and the Teter Center Staff that due to past demand in those rooms, and space limitations that down would not be an option. The only available bed configuration options for Teter are Bunked and L-Shaped Loft.”

I can confirm what mama1317 said above. My daughter insisted only one of them needed to submit the request (to convert from bunk to loft) since you put the names and IDs of both roommates on the request. I showed her this posting but she still insisted. Then today she got an email from RPS saying both roommates needed to submit the request. Told ya so, but who wants to listen to mom? Her roommate will submit the request today.

Stbemptynest all the mothers on this forum are chuckling as they read this post. Lol.

how much does it cost to change from a down bed to a loft bed? and how much does it cost to buy a futon through the service?

As mama1317 said above, it is $25 per roommate to change the bed configuration. According to this site, it is $229.99 to buy a futon through bedloft: [Bedloft :: Home](http://www.bedloft.com/ProductList.aspx)
