so I have been accepted to University of Georgia, Binghamton University and SUNY Geneseo as a transfer. I know UGA has the highest ranking and is most nationally known, but since i really that its tuition is very expensive I'm wondering if it's worth spending $30,000 per year for my education there. In addition, i heard many people say SUNY Geneseo is also a good school, as it is known for the most selective school in SUNY system. the great thing about it is it offers me an amount of tuition that is just as half as it is in UGA. however i'm majoring in buniness and i'm not sure if Geneseo is a good choice for me. Is Binghamton U better for a business major? will going to a school with more reputation like UGA help me in applying for graduate school or for my career later? i'm worrying because even though geneseo is a good school but only regionally known. Can anyone give me an advice or at least share your experiences?

How do you intend to pay the $30K/year for UGA? If your parents are good with paying for that then that school would be fine. If you think you can come up with that money you should rethink. You’re limited to $7.5K/year for loans. Of the two SUNYs I might tip toward Bing based on being closer to NYC and having a very good management school program.

The two SUNY schools you have been accepted to have excellent reputation with anyone who will be looking at your for a job or grad school. I certainly wouldn’t pay more for UGA, especially if you eventually plan to settle in the Northeast. For business I’d probably choose SUNY Binghamton, but visit both and see which you prefer.

happy1’s answer is spot on!
