So the thing is I've been deferred from my early school and was wondering whether others think I can get into any of my RD schools.

Applied to : USC, Rice, Northwestern, UChic, Duke, JHU, WUSTL, UC Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, Columbia, Dartmouth

So do you guys think I'll get in anywhere?

You likely applied as a STEM major to Stanford or the like. As you know the competition is brutal. The good news is that your credentials are excellent and you will likely get into many of the schools mentioned. I think you could cut your list down to six, and likely get accepted by 2-3. Good Luck.

Thanks for your input! By the way, why would you recommend cutting down on the schools? Is it so that I would have more time to focus on the specific supplements per school? Once again thanks.

bump

Please don’t cut down your list–that will only limit your chances! Everyone looking to get into top schools should apply to at least 10 reaches, so you are good. I think you stand a chance at all of them! Your essays just have to be awesome. I can speak for Dartmouth—enjoy your interview and be relaxed and genuine.

You should be able to get into most, if not ALL of those. Your credentials are really showing, and as the previous people had mentioned, it may be that you applied ED to a school like Stanford and the competition is crazy there! Good luck! Chance me back?
