how stable is it compared to being a doctor?

i mean..i want to know how easy it will be to land a good job?

how is the pay (usually)...?

thanks a lot guys (and dont give me a 'u should do something you love' response..about how money shouldn't motivate me..bc it doesn't. i'm just curious)

accoridng to Salary.com, the average lawyer makes from 80,000-142,000 while the average Physician makes from 130,000-172,000. I would say landing a high paying job as a Physican is eaiser but Med-School, getting in and finishing it, is probably harder than Law-School. Of course its all a matter of opinion so someone could totally disagree.

thanks for the info and yea i just want to know if being a lawyer is kinda like being a real estate agent..or is it much more stable as in you find a law firm, get the job, and have steady/stable pay and clients..or is it like you have to do a lot of the work in finding clients and i just want to know if its more about being a part of a good law firm...or just being a popular/well known and requested lawyer..obviously i dont know much so yea anymore info would be great guys

correct me if i'm wrong, but if you're working for a big law firm (where the big money's at), then most lawyers go under review for partner after 7 or 8 years, where many who dont make it usually leave the firm. part of being a qualified candidate for partnership is being able to bring in new clients and retain old clients.
