Well, i was looking into any way to make NU cheaper for me, and I fould several options: Work study, an extra job, sudying abroad (yes, it would be cheaper to study in London than at NU ;)), and then I came across being an RA. Does anyone know if they get free Housing or if they just get paid?
Or any other ways of making money while at NU?
Thanks!

At most colleges RA's don't have to pay for their room. However, the time to apply to be an RA is after freshman year.

RAs at Northwestern don't get paid, they just get free room and board. However, you can't apply to be an RA until your finish your first year at NU (and, until this year, you couldn't apply to be an RA until you'd finished your second year). I would go with work-study if it is offered to you. You can't earn tons of money, but the money you do earn can come very easily.

How is it cheaper to study abroad in London? With the US dollar falling, it's actually quite expensive to study in Europe. Unless you have good connections or are involved in a really good program. You also have to support yourself once abroad, something that the school does not reimburse you.
