are any of you guys slightly older than the majority of the students? I mean, if one were to be 20 as a freshman instead of the traditional 18 (because of military service or anything else) how do you think it would affect their college experience assuming they are not immature for their age? do you have any friends like these?

I am a 20 year old junior, but it is my first time at a university because I went to community college and they put me in a hall with a ton of freshmen. It doesn’t make a huge difference at all. I am mature for my age in a lot of ways, though not in every way, so I have a bit of a hard time relating to the freshmen, but we are still having fun together. And there is no rule that says you can’t hang out with other 20 year olds just because you might be a freshman, no one will care or likely even know what year you are.
